The Circle of Fluff

I tried to go shopping for work-out clothes today in my effort to be healthier. Apparently, my new goal is to lose enough weight to fit into work out clothes, which they don't seem to make for plus sized women.

Isn't that a bit self-perpetuating?

Getting Graphic

A literal quote from the graphic design company that I sent graphics to:

"This should work. Your images aren't quite high enough resolution, but it'll be good enough, especially if your audience is at least 2 feet or more away."

Designing Women

Scene: My company is looking to get a few signs made, so a female co-worker and I were showing our logo to a design guy that stopped in to give us a quote.  She and I are standing with this "gentleman" at the front desk, behind which sit three more women.

Itching his moustache, genius jabs a finger at the full-color logo on my business card and says, "So I 'spose this is PMS paint, huh?"  He chuckles at the quizzical looks of the five women surrounding him and states, "PMS Paint - it's gotta be just EXACTLY the way the woman wants it, not half a shade too light, not half a shade too dark...juuust right".
